Unique Identifier Header (UIDH)

• The Unique Identifier Header (UIDH) is the address information that accompanies Internet (HTTP) requests sent over a wireless network provided by an ISP. For instance, when a customer enters a retailer's website address on their phone, the request travels through the network and reaches the retailer's site. This request contains various details, including the device type and screen size, enabling the retailer's site to optimize its display on the phone. The UIDH is part of this information and can serve as an anonymous means for advertisers to identify users belonging to a specific target group.

It's important to emphasize that the UIDH is a temporary and anonymous identifier that is included with unencrypted web traffic. To safeguard the privacy of our customers, we regularly change the UIDH. We do not utilize the UIDH for collecting web browsing information, nor does it transmit individuals' web browsing activity to advertisers or other parties.

Embedded Script

• An embedded script refers to a type of programming code specifically created to gather information about your interactions with an online service, including the links you click on. This code is temporarily downloaded onto your device from either our web server or a third-party service provider. It remains active only while you are connected to the online service and is subsequently deactivated or deleted.

ETag, or Entity Tag

• An ETag, which is a feature of the cache in browsers, is an opaque identifier allocated by a web server to a particular version of a resource located at a specific URL. Whenever the content of that resource at the URL changes, a new and distinct ETag is assigned. In this context, ETags serve as a form of device identifier. Even if the consumer blocks HTTP, Flash, and/or HTML5 cookies, ETag tracking can generate unique tracking values.

Unique Device Tokens

• When users opt to receive push notifications in mobile apps, the app developer is furnished with a distinctive device token, which can be likened to an address. This token is supplied by the app platform, such as Apple or Google, to uniquely identify each user.
